Australian-native Mark German appointed as Gasser’s Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea representative
YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO (October 15, 2012) – Youngstown, Ohio-based Gasser Chair Company, one of the world’s top designers and manufacturers of seating products for hospitality and entertainment venues, has expanded into the Australian, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea markets and has appointed Mark German as its new regional sales representative for the region.
Mr. German will be based out of the southwestern Sydney suburb of Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia.

German brings to Gasser a wealth of knowledge and experience from his time working at management levels in the sales and gaming industries. Previous positions include divisional sales manager at Aristocrat, Australia’s largest manufacturer of slot machines, gaming systems and accessories; sales manager at Olympic Video Gaming, which became the second largest manufacturer of slot machines in Australia under German’s leadership; and New South Wales (NSW) sales manager at IGT, the global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of computerized gaming machines and network systems products.
A lifelong Australian resident, German and his wife, Valarie, have three children, six grandchildren, and enjoy golfing and kayaking.
