Visitors applaud the New Innovations from the Suzo Happ Group
The Suzo Happ Group looks back on two successful January London shows. Once again the Suzo Happ Group had a major presence at the ICE exhibition at Earls Court. As a global leader in component technology in the gaming industry, the Suzo Happ Group places utmost focus on its responsibility to the market to provide leading component solutions. Visitors to the stand at the ICE could witness major new innovations. Furthermore, the Suzo Happ Group represents industry-leading manufacturers, so providing manufacturers and operators alike a very strong portfolio, providing ‘best-in-class’ solutions for all component requirements.
This dedication was reflected by the new innovations that were premiered at the ICE. The new coin Hopper Flow is perfect solution when multi-denomination coin pay-out is required. The challenge is to maintain a high payout rate when tackling multi-denomination payout. The experience and knowledge of the Suzo Happ development team has solved this challenge – the Hopper Flow can pay out up to seven coins per second. Three different bowl sizes (standard, medium and large) give gaming manufacturers further flexibility to ensure that the correct coin capacity can be stored.
The new Flip Card Unit opens the door to revive the market for poker machines. The new Flip Card Unit comes in two standard sizes to ensure machine flexibility (thus holding either 60 or 72 cards). Security is key and the Flip Card Unit is designed to note movement detection. Furthermore, there are three motor steps for each card. The first company to integrate the Flip Card Unit was invited by Suzo Happ management to display their poker machine on the stand. Mr. Eddy Hultermans was very pleased about the feedback, stating, “The Flip Card Unit brings in the latest technology to a traditional and well-loved market segment. We have had a lot of enquiries here at the show. The Flip Card Unit gives us many possibilities with its great lighting techniques. Many players trust a mechanical unit than cards on a video screen. Naturally it is very secure and is ideal for us”.
The new chrome-plated push buttons combine a stylish new design with universal connectors. Furthermore, the white and RGB LED’s inside bring new brilliant colours to the buttons. Furthermore, the trend back towards pull handles on slot machines has been met by the Suzo Happ Group with the new RGB slot machine handle that is the perfect solution both for new slot machines and ones on the gaming floor. The RGB handle can be programmed to light in any colour of the rainbow. Indeed, it can be programmed to often alter its colour and so attract players to the slot machine. Being mounted on the outside of the machine means that it can simply be implemented into existing machines.
The extensive slot machine topper range was on proud display and these toppers could be seen on many of the slot machine manufacturer stands. The continual focus on supporting the gaming market is demonstrated by the upgrade kits that the Suzo Happ Group offers. These include a bezel and LCD upgrade kit for Aristocrat MK6 slot machines and a new upgrade kit for Electroncek electronic roulettes.
The best-known component names could be found on the Suzo Happ stand. The touchscreens for ELO, the banknote readers from MEI and ticket printers from FutureLogic stand out as ‘best-in-class’ in their individual fields. All three companies were introducing new innovations that were on the Suzo Happ stand to see. Furthermore, the coin and banknote reader counters and sorters from Talaris (ex- de La Rue) were once again on proud display with an added bonus – the Ntegra note counting and sorting machine has a new exciting element for the gaming industry – it can now process tickets and is thus the perfect partner in the ticket-in, ticket-out market.
Mr. Erik Wijma, Sales Director at Suzo Happ summed up the positive mood from the exhibition, “There was a real buzz at the ICE and we had a very busy show. Visitors often commented how pleased they were that we continue to bring new innovations to market even in challenging times. This places the trust in the industry that the Suzo Happ Group is the preferred partner for component requirements”.

The particular products of focus for the UK and Irish markets included the GeWeTe change machines, the new Suzo Happ Group Mini Changer, Miliken Cloth and the Talaris range Mr. Charlie Sines, MD of Suzo Happ UK explained, “The EAG was very successful for us.
