[LONDON - 8 February 2010] - World leader in corporate scent marketing, Brandaroma, has announced today that it has bought Minnesota based company AromaSys.  The merger will enable Brandaroma to supply a greater selection of products to the international market.

Commenting on the deal, Roy Carter, CEO of Brandaroma says: “AromaSys and Brandaroma have been operating very similar business models for some time now and felt it made commercial sense to come together and share experiences, contacts, products and technologies. This merger will enable both companies to benefit from much greater economies of scale as we push corporate scent marketing on a global scale.”

Working with businesses within the retail, luxury hotel and leisure market, Brandaroma produces bespoke ‘signature’ scents that enable a connection with customers on both a behavioural and neurological level by evoking memories, stimulating appetites and affecting moods. The best perfumers in the world are used to produce fragrances based on sound scientific principles that are proven to increase revenues, improve customer satisfaction, raise staff morale and significantly enhance brand identity.

Using precision control units, Brandaroma supplies systems that ensure exactly the right amount of scent is provided in any given environment without overpowering the olfactory senses.

Mark Peltier, co-founder of AromaSys says: “We have built up a highly successful business providing custom scented environments to some of the most exclusive and luxurious hotels, resorts and casinos across the US. In order to grow and develop our brand further, we needed a business partner and found that Brandaroma was the perfect fit. We are very pleased to be working together.”

AromaSys has strong relationships with exceptional high end brands across North America including the Bellagio, Wynn, the Venetian and MGM-Mirage Resorts and Casinos in Las Vegas as well as luxury chains such as Ritz Carlton, Marriott and Hyatt Hotels. The company is also responsible for the largest scented building in the world, the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
