Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprises today announced that Steve Karoul has joined the organization as Vice President of Casino Marketing. In this role, Karoul will plan and implement promotional programs designed to attract large groups of new and existing customers to the property, and will manage special events and activities.

Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods today reported to the Connecticut State Division of Special Revenue that slot revenue for the month of July was $64.1 million. This amount represents an increase of 1.3 percent in slot win and an increase of 5.3 percent in total slot handle as compared to July of 2009.

It was announced Monday that Mr. Sherlock was appointed interim President of Foxwoods Resort Casino. Mr. Sherlock's interim role at Foxwoods will not conflict or impact his duties as the Chairman of Nevada Gold.

The New York Liberty today announced a new multi-year premier partnership with Foxwoods Resort Casino, North America’s largest resort casino. As part of the partnership Foxwoods will receive prominent logo placement on the Liberty jersey, a first-of-its-kind partnership for an Eastern Conference WNBA team and the first resort casino to have branding on the front of a professional sports team jersey.
