Caesars Entertainment Corporation and Enjoy S.A. today announced that they have signed a definitive agreement to form a strategic relationship in Latin America, one of the fastest growing casino gaming markets in the world.  Under terms of the agreement, Enjoy will acquire 45% of Baluma S.A., the Caesars subsidiary which owns and operates the Conrad Punta Del Este Resort and Casino in Punta Del Este, Uruguay and Caesars will become a shareholder in Enjoy.

Caesars Entertainment revealed plans today to re-name the company's center-Strip resort currently known as Imperial Palace to The Quad Resort & Casino. Although guests will begin to see the brand transformation on property as early as November, the official conversion will be completed by Dec. 21, 2012 with renovation plans scheduled for finish by late 2013. Interior and exterior renovations to the property are already under way.

The winning ways just got even better for JCM Global. Having recently completed its most successful quarter in the company’s history, JCM now has been named the preferred bill validator provider to Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Under terms of the multi-year agreement, JCM’s iVIZION® bill validator will be Caesars Entertainment’s preferred bill validator at all 42 domestic properties Caesars Entertainment owns or manages.

Caesars Entertainment Corporation today announced that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Halkyard will leave the company to pursue an opportunity outside of the gaming industry. Caesars has begun a search for a permanent replacement. On an interim basis, Halkyard's responsibilities will be assumed by other members of the company's senior management team, including Chairman, CEO and President Gary Loveman.

Horseshoe Casino, Ohio's first full-service casino, officially opened its doors to the public the evening of Monday, May 14. Horseshoe Cleveland was developed by Rock Ohio Caesars LLC (ROC), a joint venture between Rock Gaming LLC and Caesars Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: CZR). Caesars Entertainment manages the casino's day-to-day operations. Horseshoe Cleveland is a full member in Total Rewards, Caesars Entertainment's loyalty program.

Caesars Entertainment Corporation today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to sell Harrah's St. Louis to Penn National Gaming, Inc. for $610 million in cash. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2012, subject to regulatory approvals. "Harrah's St. Louis is a quality property with a talented team. Caesars Entertainment announced today that Harrah's Chester will have a new name on May 12: Harrah's Philadelphia, along with several new dining outlets and an all new entertainment line up.  Harrah's Chester will officially change its name to Harrah's Philadelphia in conjunction with its first headlining concert of the summer-long Harrah's Philadelphia Summer Concert Series with Lynyrd Skynyrd and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, slated for a May 12 show on "The Field" of the race track.
