2012 Nomination Guidelines
To nominate an individual as a 2012 Top in Ops Award winner, you must have worked with him or her within a casino operator setting, and he or she must meet all qualifications of the award:
-Candidate has worked in the gaming industry for a minimum of 3 years and has been in his or her current position for at least 1 year.
-Candidate currently works for a company in the gaming industry and holds a management position in the gaming operations (slots, table games, etc.).
-Candidate demonstrates exceptional achievement in at least 3 of the following areas:
1. Ability to go above and beyond job responsibilities
2. Commitment to company and co-workers
3. Contributions to the industry as a whole
4. Commitment to mentoring
5. Strong overall life balance
If your candidate meets these nomination criteria, submit the following materials to complete the nomination process:
Recommendation Letters and Nomination Form
The Nomination Review Committee requires at least 1 letter of recommendation from either a direct supervisor or colleague. Letters of recommendation should address what is most notable about the nominee, what his or her contributions to the company and/or industry are, and why he or she deserves this award. Please submit an electronic copy of all letters of recommendation.
Headshot, Biography and Additional Information
A high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) color headshot of the nominee in .jpg, .tiff or .eps format is required. A 300-500 word biography in Word or PDF format of the nominee is also required.
You may send us any press releases, press clippings or additional information you feel may provide further insight into the nominee's qualifications for this award. Please do not submit more than six additional documents beyond the required materials. For example, you may send two extra letters of recommendation, two press releases, one photo and one article, or any combination thereof, up to six. If seven or more are sent, we will ask you to choose which six are sent to our judges.

Please include the nominee’s name and “Top in Ops Awards” in the subject line. Overnight shipping is recommended if they are mailed.
Deadline for Nominations
All nomination materials, including letters of recommendation, must be received by 5 p.m. CST on Monday, July 23. Late nominations will NOT be considered unless otherwise approved.
By submitting your nomination for the 2012 Top in Ops Awards, you and your company give CEM the right to republish any printed materials or images submitted in conjunction with this year’s awards, including passages from letters of recommendation.
Additional Information
All nominations will be reviewed by the Top in Ops Awards judging committee, which will select the winners. Executives from some of the biggest and best gaming suppliers will serve on the panel of judges.
There will be a total of six individuals recognized as a Top in Ops Award winner.
Finalists will be notified by Casino Enterprise Management.
