Will Your Technology Triumph?

If your company makes outstanding technology for the slot floor that triumphs above the rest, this is its chance at recognition in CEM’s prestigious award series—the seventh annual Slot Floor Technology Awards.

Each company may submit up to five new slot products that have been/will be introduced to the market between March 2012 and March 2013 in one of the following ways: new product introduced at an industry trade show, new product in beta testing and any new for-sale product. Products that were submitted in a prior year will not be considered again unless there have been significant advancements or a new version released. All products will be judged on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 as the highest ranking. The top 10 products with the highest combined scores from the panel of judges will win. Products for all facets of the slot floor will be considered, including machine advancements, systems, thermal printing, bill validating, player tracking, bonusing, components, ticketing, touchscreens, lighting, bases and cabinets, and other associated technologies.

[Note: New game themes or titles not directly related to a new innovation will NOT be considered. Please highlight how the new technology functions within the theme and not on the theme alone.]

Requirements:
1. A completed nomination form (see attachment below).
2. A 500-1,000 word description of how the new technology works, how it is an advancement over previous technology, and the benefits associated with it (preferred format: typed Word document).
3. A high-resolution image of the product (preferred format: .jpg or .tiff, at least 300 dpi at 100 percent).
4. (Optional, but encouraged) Additional supporting materials, e.g. brochures, white papers, video demos, press releases, etc.
5. (Optional) Client or expert testimonial about the new technology’s capabilities and successes in the gaming industry.
6. A $100 nomination fee per submission. See nomination form for payment information.

*By submitting your products in the 2013 Slot Floor Technology Awards, your company gives CEM the right to republish any printed materials or images submitted in conjunction with this year’s awards.
