Shuffle Master, Inc. announced today the appointment of two members to its Board of Directors. Eileen Raney and Randy Thoman joined the Shuffle Master Board effective January 11, 2011. Eileen Raney currently serves as the Chair of Deloitte & Touche’s Retired Partner Advisory Council. Raney served 19 years at Deloitte & Touche in New York, serving on both the US Board of Directors and the US Executive Committee.

Shuffle Master, Inc. announced today that Phillip Peckman, whose tenure as Interim CEO of Shuffle Master recently ended, has also now resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Peckman has decided to pursue other business opportunities and to concentrate his efforts in those endeavors. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Shuffle Master since June 5, 2007 and resigned from the Board of Directors on January 7, 2011.

Shuffle Master, Inc. announced that effective today, David Lopez, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed by the Board of Directors as Interim Chief Executive Officer.
