Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which opened in November 2007, is a full-service luxury resort located at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. The property features 2,600 movie-themed rooms and suites, an expansive high-tech casino floor with the most current slot machines and table games, world class cuisine, the hottest lounges and nightclubs, unique entertainment offerings, a full-service spa, outdoor pools and a sunbathing deck, a wedding chapel, convention and meeting space, and a retail environment with over 170 stores.

The property is a joint venture partnership involving Robert Earl, founder and CEO of Planet Hollywood International Inc.; Bay Harbour Management LLC; and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. It is a member of the Starwood Preferred Guest program. Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has many unique design features that seamlessly come together to create one very hip “Hollywood away from Hollywood.” From the walnut furniture of KOI to the sexy silk at Strip House to the comfortable cognac-colored seating areas of Living Room, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is a feature film on good design.

KOI
KOI is the definition of sleek and stylish; it exudes a sophisticated and stylish air, inviting one to come in for a drink or a full dining experience. The use of walnut for the furniture and luxurious fabrics create an inviting space that comes together as one. Texture and splashes of colors are used to create a high level of visual stimulation. KOI features two VIP rooms. The first has hand-carved, perforated rosette panels from Thailand made from reclaimed teak, while orange-red floral fabrics consume the other VIP room, setting the mood for the space overlooking the restaurant. The main bar-top and cocktail tables are luxurious, with golden mother of pearl, and the sushi bar features a gold-textured glass wall with a cascading water feature. The lounge is wrapped in fabric-coated fins with hints of gold light peaking through, creating an ambiance that allows either a quiet drink or an active nightlife. At KOI, the dining experience is fun and stylish with allowances for small intimate affairs or large parties.

Strip House
The sultry silks and siren red walls complement the sensual music and scarlet design,  exciting all the senses and making Strip House a unique dining experience. Strip House’s interiors redefine the traditional steakhouse paradigm with a saucy mélange of rosy  lighting and flocked wall coverings adorned with black-and-white photographs of scantily-dressed women from the original 1900s Studio Manasse collection. Strip House, created by renowned restaurateurs Peter, Penny and Mathew Glazier, was voted one of America’s Greatest Steakhouses by GQ magazine. Strip House has also won “Best Steak of the Year” by Citysearch in 2006 and was named one of the 10 Best American Steakhouses by Maxim magazine.

Extra Lounge
Get your celebrity on and become part of the action as the correspondents from Extra mix, mingle and interview celebrities from their new Vegas headquarters. The Extra Lounge at Planet Hollywood is the perfect place to grab a drink and people-watch.

Heart Bar
Heart Bar at Planet Hollywood is located in the center of the action. This modern cocktail lounge and its model servers help create a vibe of pure excess and luxury right in the middle of the casino floor. It’s the perfect place to grab a drink to go or meet up with friends.

Privé

Guests can expect high-end service and design that attract legions of jet-setters and celebrities. With its clean, modern and bright fixtures, glass crystal and illuminated elements, the design of Privé creates a bright modern vibe, while colorful accents mix with timeless antiques.

Living Room
A South Beach nightlife group makes its mark for the first time in Las Vegas with Living Room at Planet Hollywood. With space as comfortable and welcoming as one’s own home, featuring 20 cognac-colored seating areas available via reservation, guests can enjoy an evening cocktail or nightcap. Inspired by the cozy cigar lounges of the 1940s, other features include a glass-enclosed fireplace, Persian rugs, mirror and leopard skin accents, traditional wood columns with inlaid LED illuminated crystal, a modern back-lit granite bar with towering Venetian mirrors, burgundy drapery, and a vintage pool table.

The Chapel
Be the stars of your own wedding. At The Chapel, each bride and groom becomes a celebrity. Planet Hollywood’s expert wedding team creates the stage, from swag bags and rehearsal dinners to one-of-a-kind proposals and the signature Red Carpet Reception. Bring the love, ‘cause The Chapel will take care of the rest.

Miracle Mile Shops
Miracle Mile Shops, named in part to promote the 1.2 miles of retail space the mall covers, signal the center’s transformation to a sleeker, more urbanized and contemporary space. The multimillion dollar makeover focuses on de-theming the original design for its transition into a more streamlined, contemporary look with an abundance of new, brand-name and internationally recognized retailers. Miracle Mile Shops has already welcomed the funky, trendy men’s and women’s clothes, accessories and home décor of Urban Outfitters; the chic British men’s and women’s wear of Ben Sherman, the world’s leading outdoor sports lifestyle company; and Quiksilver. Miracle Mile Shops also offer the affordable fashions of H&M; Polynesian-fusion food and fun at Trader Vic’s restaurant; the trendy women’s fashions of Marciano; authentic Greek cuisine at Taverna Opa; and Hawaiian Tropic Zone, a dining and nightlife destination.
