Gaming Law News, July 9, 2010

ACEME presents its series of podcasts featuring the latest in gaming law news from the International Masters of Gaming Law. This week: Justin Franssen joins us with an update on Dutch gaming law. The European Court of Justice recently made a judgement on cases dealing with i-gaming law. Franssen says i-gaming is "huge" in The Netherlands, even though it is illegal. There has also been a major shift in political leadership in The Netherlands and a new "remarkable" definition of poker from a district court there. Franssen breaks down each development and tells us what the implications may be for gaming in The Netherlands.
