Singapore, September 28th, 2009 – Weike Gaming Technology, Singapore’s only Gaming Machine and Gaming Systems manufacturer, announced today its plan to enter the European gaming equipment market, beginning with a launch of its electronic multi player table games (METGs).

Having won the prestigious award of “Best Asian Manufacturer 2009”, Weike Gaming Technology, with its Infinity series of gaming machines, Multi-player Electronic Table Games (METG), and state-of-the-art gaming management and jackpot systems, has built a solid reputation within Asian markets as a leading
manufacturer . Following in from its market success in Asia, Weike’s next step was to develop a multi-pronged strategy to enter the European market, with a focus on its multi-player electronic gaming tables, namely the 5- player METG Revo Baccarat and Blackjack, and 10-player Poker Pal X.

“The limitation to us entering European markets was to find the right partner,” commented David Kinsman, Weike’s CEO. “We were lucky enough to find a very experienced and perfectly placed partner in GI & TEC who are based in Valencia,” Kinsman said, “The important thing for Weike was the right chemistry with our partner, and in GI & TEC, we were so fortunate to find that exact fit. Spain had also been our choice as the initial European market entry, due to its potential over coming years.”
In its first phase of entry into the European market, Weike unveiled its electronic gaming tables at the FERINTERAZAR International Gaming & Gambling Trade Show held in Madrid, Spain, from 23rd to 25th September 2009, through its Spanish counterpart and agent, GI & TEC and its subsidiary, Option gaming machines. These electronic gaming tables will then progressively be brought to selected casinos across Spain in the second phase of Weike’s European expansion plan. Weike’s gaming machines are currently undergoing full certification to Spanish technical requirements via testing laboratory, BMM, and will be launched in selected sites following the Madrid show launch.

Commenting on Weike’s move, David Kinsman said, “Spain is the ideal market for our first foray outside Asia, and together with our partners, we will be working very hard to establish Weike’s reputation in this exciting gaming equipment market.”
