HAMDEN, CT – January 26, 2010 – TransAct Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: TACT), a global leader in market-specific printers for transaction-based industries, announced today the promotion of Andrew Hanley to Vice President International Sales effective immediately.
In his expanded role, Andrew is responsible for sales of the Company’s complete portfolio of Epic casino and gaming products and services within the Asia Pacific market, including key markets such as Macau, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, and Australia. In addition, he will also expand his responsibility for the Company’s South American efforts, working with casino operators, slot and game manufacturers and distributors in South America.
