Carpinteria, CA - November 9, 2010 - Synectic Systems, Inc. (Synectics),a leading supplier of integrated surveillance and security systems for specialized vertical markets, today announced that it will be demonstrating its range of solutions for smarter video and data integration in its booth #753 at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2010, held November 16-18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The newest solution to be highlighted in the demonstration is Synectics' Web Server and Mobile Viewer with integration to the Android Mobile OS.The Web Server and Mobile Viewer enable any stream from Synectics' digital platform to be securely viewed and controlled offsite from PCs and Android powered phones.

The demonstration will also feature Synectics' Dataveillance tool used to create custom analytics within its Synergy™ video management software. Successful integration of third-party systems to a video surveillance system enables a growing array of integrated video/data driven tools referred to as "Dataveillance." Advanced video management system functions can now combine "data events" from multiple alarm and transactional systems and initiate customized "situation management" alarms and processes. By using integrated data from disparate third-party systems and then applying appropriate rule sets, surveillance operators can identify suspicious behavior or patterns that can help reveal fraud and cheat scams taking place beyond the view of camera lens.

"The Dataveillance tool hones the surveillance operator's ability to act as both investigator and forensic analyst by enabling predictive profiling and alarms of fraudulent events," said John Katnic, Chief Operating Officer of Synectics. "With an increasing demand for analytic intelligence in security and related departments, this custom automated tool can help monitor many operational components within a gaming enterprise including access control, crowd management, and traffic patterns to name a few.Intelligent video and data integration delivers ROI value throughout the entire casino, making the surveillance system an enterprise-wide productivity tool as opposed to a regulatory cost center."

Synectics will be featuring in-booth demonstrations of a range of third party integrations to its Synergy video management platform including:

•  IP Cameras by Dallmaier, Axis, March Networks and Sanyo. In addition to integrating to a wide range of IP cameras, Synectics is now offering a new line of HD IP cameras by Sanyo.

• ObjectVideo Event Counting Suite™ using OV Ready™. Utilizing advanced intelligent technology, the Event Counting Suite provides a comprehensive set of  capabilities and flexible camera placements to address vital people and vehicle counting applications, including occupancy and dwell time detection. Multi-camera and multi-rule functions allow users to aggregate data from across the enterprise while web-based monitoring and reporting interfaces enable them to access their desired data output anywhere, anytime. OV Ready enables users to attach any OV Ready-compliant camera or video capture card and Synergy will automatically interface, configure and report on analytic activity.

•  GIS mapping. SynergyGIS works with a variety of leading GIS mapping platforms like OS Mastermap and Bing Online, and allows operators to quickly find a target location, access relevant alarm data, and conveniently view related video based on a variety of geographic components such as camera locations, GPS-equipped vehicles, street names and postal/zip codes.

Additional integrations that will be showcased include matrix/PTZ, point-of-sale, slots, player tracking and Synectics' virtual matrix, all of which enhance the power of the Synectics turnkey, value-added surveillance solution.
