Man Wins $2.6 Million Playing Penny Slots at Borgata

Atlantic City, NJ (May 30, 2013) - Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa announced today a Connecticut man has won $2,647,821.49 on a penny "Wizard of Oz Emerald City"® progressive slot machine after playing for less than one minute!
The lucky My Borgata cardholder, who asked to remain anonymous, hit the jackpot at 5:01 p.m. after busting out of a daily Borgata poker tournament. As he walked passed Wolfgang Puck American Grille and noticed the WMS progressive slot machine he figured he would give it a try. Miraculously, on his first spin with a max bet of $4, he struck gold winning over $2.6 million or approximately $44,130 per second of play.
