Lottomatica Group has announced that Walter Bugno has been named Chief Executive Officer of its Gaming Division. The division comprises the ATRONIC Group, a supplier of games, systems, and services to the international commercial gaming markets, and SPIELO, which specializes in the design, manufacture, and distribution of government-sponsored gaming machines, game software and central systems. Bugno will report to Lottomatica CEO Marco Sala.
Bugno brings more than 25 years of experience leading and growing international customer-driven companies. He joins Lottomatica from Bokks, a London-based global luxury brand supply network, where he was Managing Director and CEO. From 2006 to 2009, Bugno was the CEO, Casinos, for Tabcorp Holdings Limited. During his tenure, he transformed the business by revitalizing the customer casino experience. Prior to Tabcorp, Bugno was President of Campbell Soup Company in Asia Pacific from 2002 to 2006. A lifelong football (soccer) enthusiast, he was the inaugural chairman of Sydney's professional football club from 2004 to 2006.
