LAS VEGAS, March 22, 2011 — Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino-management and networked and server-based systems for the global gaming industry, announced today that it will unveil its new ALPHA 2 Pro Series V32 and Pro Curve game cabinets during the National Indian Gaming Association’s (NIGA) Indian Gaming 2011 trade show and conference in Phoenix April 3-6.
“At Bally Technologies, we are continually researching methods for improving our products for the gaming industry’s operators and customers,” said Dan Savage, Bally Technologies’ Vice President of Marketing. “Our new Pro V32 and Pro Curve cabinets set a new benchmark of innovation, and reflect our dedication to incorporate operator feedback and player feedback when designing our products.”
The Pro V32 cabinet’s many features include a 32-inch, vertical, high definition touch-enabled LCD with LED backlighting; custom four-speaker surround sound; advanced ergonomics; and lighting that is synchronized with the gaming action.
Bally’s Pro Curve is the industry’s only cabinet using first-of-its-kind curved 22-inch LCD technology, which makes a video slot game appear as if it is a spinning-reel game.
Each cabinet is completely digital and supports standard and programmable button decks, including Bally’s interactive iDeck™, and is available with a game-synchronized 15-inch LCD video ALPHA Pro Digital Topper™.
The new cabinets are an addition to the manufacturer’s current ALPHA 2 Pro Series family, which includes the Pro V22/22 Upright, Pro Slant, and Pro Stepper, all available with a variety of different top boxes including wheel, digital tower, and the unique Hammerhead.
Both received an energy-efficiency rating from a nationally recognized testing lab and are compliant with Restriction of Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment regulations (RoHS).
