Century Casinos Announces Completion of 50% Purchase of Casino Millennium and Dates for Form 10K Filing and Annual Meeting

CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Century Casinos, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNTY) announced today that, effective January 3rd, 2004, through its wholly owned Austrian subsidiary, Century Management und Beteiligungs GmbH, it has acquired an additional 40% of Casino Millennium a.s., the company operating the casino in the Marriott Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. This transaction is the final step to complete an agreement to purchase 50% of Casino Millennium. The investment by the Company for the incremental 40% stake amounts to $711,000 and was paid by contributing gaming equipment and advances receivable for original pre-opening costs. In December 2002, the Company paid $236,000 cash for the original 10% ownership

The Company also announced that it expects to file Form 10-K for the period ended December 31, 2003 with the Securities and Exchange Commission and release earnings on or about March 5, 2004.
