LAS VEGAS, May 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE:BYD) recently promoted Paula Eylar to Vice President of Internal Audit. Eylar, 40, has the primary responsibility of managing the Company's internal audit function and regulatory compliance requirements.

Eylar, who joined the Company in 1995, was previously the Director of Internal Audit for the Rio Suite Hotel and Casino. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is a Certified Internal Auditor.
