HARRISBURG, Pa. -- On Monday, July 5, at 10:30 a.m., at Philadelphia Park, Governor Edward G. Rendell will sign House Bill 2330 and Senate Bill 100 expanding gaming in the Commonwealth by legalizing slot machines and delivering on a decades old promise to deliver property tax relief. The Governor will also sign an executive order amending the Governor's Code of Conduct further protecting against opportunities for political influence in this burgeoning industry by prohibiting people in the administration from holding any financial interest in gaming companies.
