Rock and Roll Hall of Famer to Perform Two Shows Only, July 4

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. -- Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and American music legend BO DIDDLEY is coming to the Spa Resort Casino's Cascade Lounge on July 4. The legendary performer will appear with the Debby Hastings Band for two shows only at 7:00 and 10:00 p.m.


BO DIDDLEY is a universally well-respected artist whose career has spanned five decades. He has performed for President Kennedy, at the Inaugural Gala for the first President Bush, and at the Democratic National Convention for Bill Clinton. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, received a star on the Hollywood Hall of Fame in 1989, and a Lifetime Achievement award by the Rhythm and Blues Foundation at the Seventh Annual Pioneer Awards in 1996.


His first two songs, "Uncle John" and "'I'm A Man" were recorded and released by Chess Records as a double A-side disc. It went straight to the top of the rhythm 'n' blues charts, establishing BO DIDDLEY as one of the most exciting and original new talents in American music. Since that time, he has released more than 40 singles, more than 40 LPs and has appeared on more than 100 compilation albums.
