The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, has launched a scathing attack on gaming. Correa first came out against the industry in June 2010 when he announced to a local radio station that his government was looking at ways to ban casinos altogether. Correa announced then that casinos had become hotbeds of racketeering and money laundering and were allowing children to enter the premises.
