Summer is officially here, and though the heat has been sweltering—even up in Fargo, N.D.—it also means that OIGA is coming up very soon, and G2E won’t be far behind it. As we are preparing for the annual Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association trade show, it brings to mind many exciting things occurring both in Indian country and in the industry as a whole.

This month's top headlines include the formation of Williams Interactive by WMS, five new members joined the AGEM organization, JCM Global was named preferred privider to Caesars Entertainment, Bally launched its i-gaming platform, IGT was granted a license for online poker, BMM received approval from Maryland Lottery, Gasser Chair added a new team member, as well as headlines from other companies in the industry.

Think of one of the biggest, most well-known and trusted gaming manufacturers out there. I’d bet that IGT was one of the first, if the not the first, company that came to mind. With a tried and true product line for almost every area a casino property could ever need, not to mention a great group of people behind it, it’s no wonder IGT has risen to such epic heights throughout the years. And they certainly aren’t going to be stopping anytime soon.
