May 16-17, 2012

The gaming industry has experienced momentous years in its history, but nothing comes close to 2012. This is a year in which several states in the East, from Massachusetts to Ohio, are moving expeditiously to add casinos. This is a year in which other states, from Kentucky to Florida, are debating public policies on whether they should authorize casinos, or expand their gaming offering.

Most important, this is a year in which online wagering is
moving from concept to front-burner issue, with elected officials, regulators, industry executives, suppliers and others wondering what to do, and what it all means.

These debates, and these various issues, will soon converge and, once more, policy makers in the public and private sectors are turning to the East Coast Gaming Congress as the principal forum to understand the issues and frame the debates. Sixteen years ago, this conference was founded under a simple premise: You can’t find the right answers until you ask the right questions of the right people.

With that in mind, we turned this event from a conference into an institution. This is the place where governors, legislators, CEOs, investors and regulators convene to offer their visions and share their concerns. This conference is shaping up to be the best one yet, which is no small feat since we have had so many great conferences over the preceding 15 years.

This year, 2012, also marks the opening of Revel, the first all-new casino resort to open in Atlantic City in nine years. And, as part of that opening, we are bringing together many of the creative minds behind the retail, dining and other non-gaming amenities that are essential to Revel and Atlantic City. This year also marks an expansion for us, as we are now the East Coast Gaming Congress & Hospitality Forum.

This expansion is designed to make the conference more informative to more people in this dynamic, ever-changing industry.

We look forward to seeing you at Revel on May 16 and 17.
